The Bravery "Slow Poison"

We just finished this music video for The Bravery here at Buck NY. Everything came together, a short deadline, tons of design, comp and editorial work, 2 shoots (One of them on the moon), basically no life outside of the office for 4 weeks and we had to listen to the song at least 10 times a day. If there's a karaoke contest of Slow Poison somewhere we totally gonna rule! Enjoy it here: CLICK

Also there are - as usual - some nice pictures from the shoot on the green screen moon on the Buck site: CLICK

Halloween 09

That was fun! Not only that I saw a costume store on Saturday night that was completely messed up and emptied, but also tons of beautiful and creative costumes covering up drunk people jumping through the streets of Brooklyn.

Anna and Mike invited us to their new studio and took those beautiful pictures, thanks again so much for that!

The Kiwis (in super cute homemade costumes) tried to sneak in every picture that was taken that night, understandable in this case though, because they wanted to join their Grape friends for a beautiful Still Life.

My personal favourite: The Damian Hirst Installation Costume!

And a little note on the side, we were working pretty hard the last few weeks, that's why there was no time to post whatsoever. But the result looks great and can be found here soon....

Happy Birthday Manhattan Bridge

The Manhattan Bridge turned 100 years old today. It was designed by Ralph Modjeski and Leon Moiseff and was the last of the 3 bridges connecting Brooklyn with Manhattan. Even though it's very noisy to cross, because you're walking or biking next to trains and cars, the view is stunning and it's never as busy as the Brooklyn Bridge, which makes it a joy to cyclists that are sick running into tourists on the bike lane.
Also worth to check out after a walk across the bridge: Joseph Pelling and Dan Britts short movies.
